Summer and fun in the sun and water

Sometimes you may think, "I just don't have time to go fishing" or go hiking or whatever the form of outdoor recreation may be. But, instead of 'dinking' around in the garage or basement or doing lawn work, or cleaning the house, one needs just to take time and do the hike, or fish.

Sundays are busy days at Highline Lake located west of Fruita.

Summer is the time for fun

Sometimes we just need to do it, that is, forget the odd jobs that always seem to be waiting around the house for us.
We owe it to our souls to get out in the great outdoors and enjoy the many things to see and enjoy.

Sunday found many people doing just that as
they found a spot to picnic with family and friends, get on a boat and enjoy the water, look around at the scenery and just plainly, relax. The coming week will go better for this effort.
