Nina Williams will teach her magic beginning Jan. 27

Nina Williams is the petite blond piece of dynamite who creates incredible pieces of art using her well honed talent in hand building of ceramic art. Fruita Rec Center is lucky to sponsor another class taught by Nina. The class begins January 27, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Classes will take place in the basement of the Fruita Civic Center. This is a series of 8 classes in which she will focus on making jewelry since that seems the most popular at present. Other projects will be presented as well.Don't miss this class. If any of you have seen the incredible hand made ceramics by Nina Williams, from Southwestern flavored to contemporary jewelry, functional and non functional pottery, wall hangings and her wonderfully textured tile pieces, you will not want to miss this opportunity. As a special favor to Fruita's Arts and Culture Board, Nina will be teaching her magic beginning September 16. The location is the art room at Fruita Middle School. All tools used to create the works will be furnished. Nina has quite a collection. She will provide englobes and stains as well. The class will run for 8 weeks, meeting each Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:30. The class is open to no more than six students, so it is first come, first serve. There will be a fee of
$75.00 and $10 or $12 for clay. This is a special class, you do not want to miss this great opportunity.
