Whew!!! and more exclamations as to the heat of the evening. The athletes and animals survived the heat and the gusty dust as the crowd enjoyed another good rodeo show. Results are as follows:
Shane Smith won the Bareback event this evening.
Colton Fritzlan was the only successful bull rider with a score of 70. I have some great shots of this ride.
Junior Bulls won their event as did the calves in the roping contest.
Bailey Herrera won breakaway with 4.88 seconds.
Renea Rice was first in Barrels D1 with 17.61 and Brittany Cordova with 17.80 was second.
Barrels D2 saw Amanda Kinterknecht round the barrels in 18.95 and second place ShaRe Dorscher in 19 plus seconds.
Barrels D3 watched Lori Allen go around in 19.81 seconds and second place, Kenda Abbott in 20.85 seconds.
Team Roping #8: Jess Jackson and Ed Duran took first with 24.plus
Second place went to Kaitlin Norell and Ken Norell with 25.plus
Team Roping #11: First place team, Kyle Rush and Mario Bolezlera, 13.7
Second place went to Kale Roberts and T. Wofferd, 15.97
