Photos from the Fruita Fall Festival and last Rodeo

Finally!, Yes, I know, it has been some time getting these ready. Please browse through and hopefully enjoy these. With teaching, no or little prep time and a very busy weekend, this has taken time. Here goes.
You'll find that the festival photos are a mixed bag, some of the popular bed race, the parade, people, rides, the baking contest, Parade Grand Marshall, Ruth Farley, and more.
The weekend enjoyed superb weather. The sun heated up things later in the afternoons but all cooled for evening enjoyment.
The history of this celebration goes back 98 years. With the centennial coming soon, I am asking for anyone who might have photos dating back to those years to loan them to me so we can collect data for that 100th year birthday. Please leave the photos in an envelop with your name, phone and return address at the Fruita Thrift Store for me.  They will be returned within several days. All help will be much appreciated.
