These two yellow swallow tail butterflies were found on our lawn doing their summer job. |
235 years ago.. July 4th, 1776 Our great nation Faced a struggle for what was right and free, And a new nation was born. Today may we celebrate that precious freedom For which so many gave their lives From the Revolutionary War, the Great War to today’s conflict. We strive to keep our freedoms As hopefully we learn to be compassionate and Respectful of all our fellow men and women May the stars and stripes in our flag Bring together the partisan sects breathing bigotry, ambition, and greed, So they forget their selfishness and work together For the good of all colors, creeds, beliefs and origins. Celebrate Freedom not only today, but every day! |
And to each of you, may the light of the freedoms we need to work together to preserve, continue to light your lives. Enjoy the photos posted here, of the Fruita Fire Department's great show for the community...of the fun at Snooks Bottom earlier in the day. |
