Great class offered at Fruita Civic Center, Rec Department

If any of you have seen the incredible hand made ceramics by Nina Williams, from Southwestern flavored to contemporary jewelry, functional and non functional pottery, wall hangings and her wonderfully textured tile pieces, you will not want to miss this opportunity. As a special favor to Fruita's Arts and Culture Board, Nina will be teaching her magic beginning September 16. The location is the art room at Fruita Middle School. All tools used to create the works will be furnished. Nina has quite a collection. She will provide englobes and stains as well. The class will run for 8 weeks, meeting each Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:30. The class is open to no more than six students, so it is first come, first serve. There will be a fee of
$75.00 and $10 or $12 for clay. This is a special class, you do not want to miss this great opportunity.
Presently you may find Nina's work displayed at the Gateway Canyons Cafe, the restaurant. Her work is on display in the gift shop at the Western Colorado Center for the Arts. You may have seen her work at the Art Center's Christmas Carnival.  Call 314 1245 for more information.
