Chamber of Commerce Business Expo is a success

Hosting 60 businesses, both new and old, the Fruita Chamber of Commerce was a success. Due to the increased number of entries, the event was moved to the Kokopelli Shopping Center where the east parking lot was filled with tables offering
information and shopping. Attending the event were Fruita residents as
well as other businesses interested in networking, in new marketing ideas and more. If you have not attended this expo before, watch for it next June 2010. If you want to get your business name noticed, this is a good venue for you.
The Fruita Coop  grilled terrific frankfurters and hamburgers for the event. Aspen Street Coffee treated everyone to complimentary tea.
Peggy Malone treated everyone to her wonderful voice and guitar strumming as she sang many favorites.
Dinosaur and Doohickies packed their booth with merchandise as did Ruby Canyon Gifts.
Information on everything from solar, banking, insurance, landscaping and more was readily available.
Mary Lou Wilson, Chamber Director was pleased with the attendance even though for a little while raindrops fell and wind blew. But, this is Colorado where, if you do not like the weather, simply wait five minutes.
