The third one was a charm considering the second block party in Fruita was rained out. With an added wrinkle, a showing of local artists preforming their magic and showing
some of their work in the former Bone Yard or Brew Pub building. The music got everyone off to a good start. Of course, true to thisyear's strange weather, a few raindrops fell but not many. The wind tried its fancy but music and a good time prevailed.The Fruita Rotary Club
served up the brew as the music of the William Brothers of Aspen rocked and rolled the crowd.
Hopefully more block parties will take place in the future. Watch for them, if not this summer, then next summer.
