Season 28, Rimrock Rodeo number 3 proved to be another stellar show.

The results from the competition are as follows:
Bareback riding did not fly as the animal athletes won....
Saddle Broncs rider Cody Hoffman was the whole survivor and first place winner.
In the Bull riding event, Bryant Osborn took first with 80 something points and Nate Holy was second  with a few point less...

Calf Roping is a fast catch and Seth Niederhauser took first place in under 10 seconds (I think, but have no time score available)
The second fastest calf roped was done by
Rob Daniels time.

Ribbon roping means the roper has to rope the calf and the runner has to grab the ribbon from the calf's tail, then run fact to break the barrier timing light. It is always fun to see that runner scurry.
Tony Mendes the roper and BrayLee Blagsdel proved to be the winning team.

In Breakaway, the roper on horseback aims to rope the steer the fastest, then just let the steer go back to the pen where the rope is recovered.
Kallie Simms had the fastest time and Samantha Denton was the second best in time.

Barrel Racing is a real test of the horses training in rounding the barrel without knocking it over as well as the rider controlling the run and still remaining seated.
Last week a grey horse and rider did the feat in 16 some seconds. This week with the course longer, the best time was a 17 seconds something.
Second places ran 18 something and 19 something.

Barrels 1 D winner was Kerrin Hazel Bush and second place went to Samantha Denton.
Barrels 2 D saw Crystal Williams ride to first place and Heather Blagsdel take second.
Barels 3 D watched Tarrin Spencer race to first and Taylor Waters earn second.

Team Roping is a huge event. there are two divisions 38 and # 11. I have heard how these are determined but do not remember the explanation.
The first name is the header, the person who ropes the steer around the head. The second name is th rider who then attempts to rope both hind feet . In ranch work this enables the teams to brand , or to mark the ear as to who has ownership of the animal.
So, Team # 8 first place went to Jerry Tate and heeler Tate Wells.
Second place went to Vivian Chamberlain and Todd Chamberlain
Teams #11 watched  Kyle Rush and Kent Edwards manage first place.
Ryan Smith and Ty Smith made the second place time.
