Fruita Fall Festival Celebrated marked its Centennial Year, 2014.

Fruita Chamber has been hosting various events throughout  this year in anticipation of the 100th Fall Festival. Collecting community recipes culminated in a great cook book now available at the Chamber Office. Other activities took place throughout the year looking forward to September.
This year's parade was led by Grand Marshal Ray Green, a living centennial himself at age 102. Living in Fruita for most of the years between 1938 and 2014, he has stories to tell.
Taking over the downtown for the weekend, the festival had over 100 vendors, free music in several venues, food, food and more food, games, contests. special  events and of course, the annual parade.
It is hoped that the photos of the parade and some of that food will jog your memories of the event.

Our  very own Grand Marshall, Ray
Green aged 102 years.
