Traffic control makes for summer fun

It seems that speeding traffic hits some interesting numbers on one of our city streets. Numbers have reached over 50 mph. Anyway,  since a traffic counter has been temporarily located on that street and since summer gives extra time for the sport of bicycling, it was only a matter of time until
interesting events occurred such as the evening when some skateboarders tried to see how fast they could go. Recently a family out for some family fun and exercise decided to see who could our race the other. Dad won with 27 mph

The two friends who tried really did hit 17 mph but when a van passed by, it looked as if one had reached 27 mph as well.
