With the hanging of the 46th annual Altrusa sponsored high school and middle school art show at the Western Colorado Center for the Arts, is included much talent and excitement for the visual arts in the Grand Valley. Best of Show was awarded to a raku ceramic piece from Palisade High School. Grand Junction took the judges choice which was awarded to an extremely sensitive drawing from Grand Junction's art department.
Catagories included drawing, painting mixed media, printmaking, photography and ceramics, both functional and non functional.
The show hangs until April 25 with teachers taking their students' works down on Saturday, April 26. Don't miss this wonderful showing of student talent from throughout the Valley
