June 19 marked a special day in the life of the famous Blue Pig Art Gallery located at 119 W 3rd Street, Palisade, Colorado.
This unique gallery is built around its artist cooperative. After being approved, Artists rent a space, if available, to show their works and work one day a month at the gallery as they help maintain this treasure.
Owned by Ivan and Jane Woods and Marla Woods, the gallery has brought new life to Palisade's Main Street. With this vitality, other businesses have dovetailed on the creative spirit.
