Fruita Rimrock Rodeo opened this evening, celebrating its 25th year.

With clear skies and a breeze from the south and west, Rimrock Rodeo opened for its 25th  season.

Mutton busting started the events, followed by the  opening ceremony, and National Anthem, along with the grand opening parade. The athletes were happy to get the ball rolling with bull riding.
Mid lots of dust, the bulls showed their savy, allowing only 2 successful rides in round one. Junior bulls allowed only one rider to stay the 8 seconds. Photos follow, first of mutton buying and other stars...more to come....
