The Methodists Turn Green for the 80th Time.

 

Young and old and inbetween, you found them enjoying the pounds of corned beef and buckets of boiled cabbage, topped off with Irish Stew on this special day, you bet...St Patrick's day.
The Fruita Methodist Chrurch on Aspen Avenue sported its banner to advertise the 80th annual such celebration. After all these years, one just knows they have the cooking down to a science.
With the kitchen full of volunteers, volunteers fetching coffee, water or tea, ticket takers and greeters with wide smiles, every-one enjoyed the event. Dessert was on the mind of this expert cuisine examiner. See you next year for number 81.
