It takes 9 gallons of water to process enough shale to harvest
one pint of oil. With the shortage of water on the western
slope, just from where will the water come? Will our  farms
and ranches suffer from no water? The eastern slope has been
seeking ways to steal our water for years, and now those whose
common sense has been blinded by greed for money from oil.
