Reinassance Festival

May 25 marked a special event at Fruita Middle School as sixth graders enjoyed a festival based on what might have happened long, long ago during the Reniassance.
Tied into literature and social studies, students got a first hand look at activities of that era.
Presenters and teachers sstressed information pertinent to the event.
Students enjoyed each and every activity from observing the shooting of canon from a ship, a jiant sling which once upon a time was used to bread castle walls for invasion.
Dance, blacksmithing and other interesting activities reinforced
classroom activities. Greeeeat job, Fruita Middle Staff!
