This being the last rodeo of the regular season, with the championship rodeo to be held Sept 28 in conjunction with Fruita Fall Festival, the crowd was a big one. The temperature was agreeable and the animals and athletes were ready.
The night's results are as follows:
Bulls, first, Jason Blasdel with 85 and Quinten Hayden second with 80 points.
Junior Bulls, first Nate Hoey with 75 and Wyatt Bronson second with 72. Last week saw a junior bull rider girl who also rode this evening with a successful score of 70. I will have to get her name.
Calf Roping first, Ryan Canty, 12.20
Breakaway first Jessica Mendes 4.85 and second, Hallie Tayler 12.78.
