Aug. 31 Rimrock Rodeo Results, last regular rodeo of the season.

Well folks, you won't be traveling up the hill to Rimrock Rodeo again this year until September's Fruita Fall Festival. The finals will be held then, complete with awards, belt buckles and all.
After mutton busting, the big bulls came out against the riders. As the first riders tried their luck in part one of bull riding, no one made good time.
It took the last bull riding event  event of the evening to produce the winners, Bobby Redd won first and Jason Blasdal won second with 74 points.
Junior bulls saw Joey Brown win first; Arles Hernandez, second.
Saddle broncs kicked every rider off as the horses showed their strength.
Bare bronc riders had better luck as Jimmy Blair placed first; Caleb Hindi, second.
The only roper to place was Jesse Cordova. Those calves just got away.
Ty Wallace and Amber Greenhalgh placed first as a team with Mario Baleztena and Morgan Crouse made up the second place team.
In breakaway, Amber Greenhalgh took first, Steanna Shiplay placed second.
Tina Collins rounded the barrels in 17.40 for place number one, while earlier in barrel slack, Sophie Cruse took the course in 17.68.
Barrels 2D saw Miykah Mahanney come in first and Lisa Hudson second.
In 3D Tanisha Fortenbery was number one and Ronda Fowler, second.
In team roping, the header is listed first and heeler second.
In #8 team roping, the first place team was Tony Tonezzi and Justin Skalla.
Place number two went to Mandy Rush and Ed Druan.
Team roping #11 saw Kain Kracht and Micheal Baleztona place first.
Second place team was Kevin Krach and Mario Baleztona.
