Local Photographer wins top honors at Mesa County Fair

Having just been chosen by Monica Hudson to display her work at Family Health West until the end of October, Wendy Huston took Best of Show and Judges' Choice with a first place award as well on her portrait of the family dog, recently deceased.
With an eye for her subject and composition, Wendy approaches her subjects with a taste of humor and quest for beauty, especially in her landscapes.
You may view her work during open hours at Family Health West's new hospital located just north of the new Fruita Community Center which is in the process of construction.
Her husband, Tom, also a talented photographer shares her passion for landscapes and special subjects.
